It is important for ELCA members to participate in the process leading up to the 2005 Churchwide Assembly’s consideration of the two questions on homosexuality. To help with the process, Pastor Gary Jepsen, who serves Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Puyallup, Wash., has written a thorough commentary and critique of Journey Together Faithfully, Part Two: The Church and Homosexuality, the study guide from the ELCA Sexuality Task Force. There is still time to respond to the sexuality task force. Responses to the task force’s study guide are due by November 1, 2004.
